Steps to Awareness is a multidisciplinary approach to growth. We are a couple who love to learn and we are happy to bring our knowledge to you. We understand that growth means change and change can be daunting. So our aim is to give our clients small steps that can help get them closer to their goals. The more aware we are, the more empowered we are to make better choices.

Mackenzie Besch
Remedial Therapist
Mackenzie has been doing massage for 5 years and is trained as a remedial massage therapist and a member of Massage and Myotherapy Australia. She is currently furthering her studies in Myotherapy and is a yoga and mindfulness instructor.
She discovered bodywork through her own struggles with injury and chronic headaches throughout her life. Manual therapies were the only treatments that helped in re-inhabiting her body, and eventually led to a full recovery.
It’s her goal to create a space for others to learn and discover their own bodies inner strength and wisdom and gain the tools to help themselves. When we fully understand our pain then we can begin to heal it.
She believes that in order to be great in the world you must love and nourish your body. Her mission is to help people achieve a higher level of health and a sense of well being and joy.
Spencer Davids
Psychosocial Recovery Coach
Spencer is trained in Mental health and Life Coaching with over 2 years experience. He has qualifications in training and assessment, Mental health first aid, Yoga and is a daily practitioner of meditation and mindfulness.
Being born in Cape Town south Africa and leaving apartheid for Australia, Spencer has found a deep interest in discovering further about his own culture and other indigenous cultures.
His interests include the outdoors, hiking and camping, foraging for wild foods, music and video production.
Spencer is constantly on the path of personal development and is passionate about assisting others in bringing out the best in themselves. His goal is for you to achieve a better, more resilient you. A you that when given the right life tools and the right skills can achieve your goals.
